About Mel's Poker Run
Mel’s Poker Run began as a way to honor Mel after his passing in 2004. The ride continued until 2011, when we took a pause. In 2024, we brought it back—this time celebrating both Mel and his wife Valerie, who passed in 2013. Today, the run brings together friends, family, and newcomers for a fun poker ride, ending the day with good food, live music, and the community spirit they both loved.
